This is less a recipe and more a lifestyle suggestion. Truffle oil on pizza is already a thing — Italians do it, hipsters do it, your favourite bougie pizzeria charges $4 extra for it. WAH Truffle takes that idea and adds dried shrimp, garlic crisp, and gentle heat. It's the upgrade you didn't know you needed.
Method
- 1
Cook the pizza according to the box — or even better, on a screaming-hot pizza stone for 6 minutes.
- 2
Pull it out. Let it rest 30 seconds so the cheese sets and doesn't slide off when you cut it.
- 3
Drizzle WAH Truffle in lazy zigzags across the whole pie. Use a spoon to chase the chunks of dried shrimp and garlic out of the jar — those are the best bits.
- 4
Tear basil over the top, scatter flaky salt, shave on Parmigiano if you're feeling fancy.
- 5
Slice. Eat standing up at the kitchen counter. That's the law.
WAH tip
Also unbeatable on a white pizza with ricotta and lemon zest. The truffle plays beautifully with the dairy.
